The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship has called for a public contest to fill up to 15 vacancies for aspirant interns at the National Foreign Service Institute (ISEN), with the aim of incorporating new diplomats in 2027. According to Resolution 188/2025, published today in the Official Gazette, the registration period will run from April 27 to May 29, 2026. Applicants must be Argentine by birth or by naturalization, hold a nationally valid university degree from a four-year program, and be between 21 and 35 years of age as of November 15, 2026. Additionally, a certificate of English language proficiency is required. The selection process consists of three evaluation stages: a psychological and psychotechnical assessment (from June 15 to August 14, 2026); anonymous written exams on eight subjects (from August 31 to September 8, 2026); and a Diplomatic Aptitude Colloquium scheduled for November 24-27, 2026. According to the considerations in the norm, the contest is held within the framework of the policy of renewal and strengthening of the National Foreign Service.
Argentina Opens Contest for Diplomatic Corps Admission
